There are no entry requirements for this course.

RTO Entry Requirements:
  • ALC only accepts persons 18 years old and over for enrolment into this units of competency.
  • ALC recommends that participants should have a basic understanding of English language skills to fully comprehend the course material.
  • Completion of year 12 would be an advantage with achieved equivalent level of language, literacy and numeracy skills. Where this has not occurred, an interview will be conducted to ascertain if there is a potential level of assistance required to assist the student.
  • Students will need to have access to a computer / tablet / smart phone etc with a reliable internet connection including current email and where applicable up-to-date software, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Reader.
  • Applicants are to have a Unique Student Identifier (USI) This is obtainable from usi.gov.au If a USI is not supplied and verified with usi.gov.au a certificate cannot be issued to the student.
  • For courses undertaken in 12 months or less, students will be invoiced the full course fee (including any other essential fees associated with the course).

Are there any exams or assessments?

No exams. Each course includes various assessments designed to measure your understanding and practical application of the material. Assessments may include quizzes, assignments, and practical projects, depending on the course structure.

Will I receive a certificate upon completion?

Yes, upon successfully completing the course requirements, you will receive an official certificate recognised nationally.

What is Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)?

Recognition of Prior Learning (or RPL) is a legitimate part of the VET sector and the Australian education system.

Performed well, it recognises skills built from experience and provides a robust framework to ensure people can have their skills recognised.

Individual competency-based assessment must be undertaken by qualified assessors including to identify training required to fill gaps in a person’s knowledge and skills to meet the requirements specified in a training package.

What is Credit Transfer?

Credit transfer is recognition that you’ve previously completed a unit of your course through VET or higher education.

To receive a credit transfer for a unit you must provide formal evidence that you’ve previously completed the unit or a unit which matches in content and outcome. Formal evidence can be a qualification certificate or transcript, statement of attainment or your USI transcript. When credit is recognised, you don’t need to repeat training or assessment for that unit.
